How the heck did you drop that thing in there with the headers on it?

OK, what is the ETA for the first blast down the 1/4?

it looks like with the grill and the nose off, he would have the clearance to get the right angle to slide it in with headers. Man, when I saw the engine quickly I thought it was mine being that mine looks exactly the same and ready to go in. Great looking piece

thanks for the compliments :D

actually, we got close with the headers, and decided to take them off to make things easy.

However it was still a little tricky with the distributor in. Even though i have to pull it back out to spin up the oil pump, i decided i wanted to leave it in for "effect" :D

There are alot of little things to work out, including buying a cowl hood, as the flat one isnt going to work, although i might just remove the carb spacer and see how close it is.
Depending on how many things i can barrow, i might be ready by the end of the month, althought it might not be exactly how i want it, i dont want to miss too many points days.

Looking good Brian!!

I'm in the process of building a round tube trans crossmember to clear up some clearance problems. And a driveshaft loop too.

After that, going to build an exhaust system.

Stay Tuned :D

Looks good
