I am having a hard time removing a rear main cap from a Gen V BBC. I am using a rubber mallet, but it is not budging.

I used a screwdriver in the bolt hole, then after it was loose I used a tiny prybar to break it from the silicone on the rear main seal. Thank you guys for the fast responses.:beers:
