Dennis, I have the Moser 12 bolt with the raised mounting points and avoided the DM stuff as well. I haven't measured the UCA angle but I lowered the ride height to get the LCA about 2 degrees from parallel to ground, and the UCA angle is what it is. You can see in that video I sent ya that the tire is definitely being "planted" at the hit. I don't know yet if it needs much more than that. But we're working to find out.

Kevin, good to have ya here. That is one bad-@ss ride your putting together.

Thanks Dave,Kevin checked it yesterday and its about 21 degrees right now...problem is that the hop bars are welded on and the housing powder coated already...were gonna try to drill more holes and drop it down more..

the car is very nice looking when are you guys going to take it to the track i live in Lockport so if you ever take it to the strip in joliet make sure you post it

Nice looking project. That block looks like jewelry.

If it was mine, I'd be getting rid of those no-hop bars. They will do more harm than good. 9" housings already have raised upper ears and the no-hops make that worse. With as much power as I suspect this thing will have, they do not fit the rest of the combination. The hit to the tire will be very violent and make traction even more of a problem.
useing chassieworks housing mounts are in stock location as 12 bolt

how about some shots of the seat location and make . looking good fella's . wow 1800 that will be nasty what fuel you gona be running . I have a buddy that made 1800to the wheels and he runs the outlaw racing deal and his car runs in the high 4s in the 1/8 . The car was on horsepower tv last weekend and was the black TA. with black wheels.

The color is Sunset Pearl and the power...well hopefully in the 17 to 1800 range with all the boost were gonna put to it.
You should be able to start kind of soft and increase it a little at a time to see if there is a point it's not going to bite at all. The Prochargers i've watched seem to work to a point and then a couple of more pounds of boost and they just blow the tires off. Timing retards might help some. How heavy is the whole car/driver going to wind up? A couple of cars locally run the Prochargers in our shootout races and the one with the 400 SBC went 8.40s then ran into traction problems. It also split the block into two pieces shortly afterwords, just like a 302 Fords. The big block one is still fine but it has trouble getting down the track.

Nice car man, looking great so far, cant wait to see the final product:thumbsup:
