Not if they have any class, and not if you don't give them any real reasons to sit around a talk junk about you.

Ah, sorry Jay, I didn't.

But. It does happen, doesn't it? Women - displeased with their significant other, men - displeased with their significant other, sit around and complain to their friends. IMO, I find that without class and have to believe it is counter productive. Perhaps spending more time actually communicating, effectively, with the SigO would yield a more positive return on one's time.

BTW, I've been married 29yrs. We've raised 2 children and put them both through college. I think my wife and I have a pretty good relationship and we're good friends. I'm not ALL that serious and I'm sure about 95% of the people that posted weren't entirely serious...it's that you posted what you did to the comment I made about "good and fun..." and your words had an extremely condescending undertone to them.
you could have been screwing around..though it didn't come off that way..however..this is a horrible form of communication and some people come off serious when they aren't..I happen to be one of them...when typing the chances of miscommunication are remarkably higher than other times b/c we don't have the chance to see nonverbal (facial expressions and hand gestures) along with verbal (voice fluctuations and tone) forms of communication. I suppose assuming that he was serious wasn't the best way to go about things.

So if indeed you WEREN'T serious, I apologize for the miscommunication the but i don't apologize for what I said :)

Not serious, I guess I grabbed the wrong reply from you to quote. I can see now how you may have interpreted that. I picked one of your replies, wrong one I guess, because you said you were only 24. I was just having fun with you. No problem and I'm not serious. My wife emails me jokes like that and the stereotypical jokes about men as well. If we can't laugh, especially at ourselves, then we've gotten way too serious.

I'll say it again, Wow! I seem to have unearthed an unusual talent of getting everyone riled up with a seemingly innocuous, inocuous, innoc...uh, harmless posting. If I can aggravate a situation that easily maybe I have a career in talk radio or TV! Glenn Beck's got nothing on me! :p

I work in a building that is about 80 % women
you would not believe some of the stuff I hear :sad:

No, I'm pretty sure they all do it. I pretty sure shopping and nagging is in the estrogen they have. Thats why god gave us selective hearing and garages.
