I know the owner (Dan), and some of the guys. Go there fairly often.
One of the workers has a 69 El Camino and I sold him a grille and wiper arm a couple weeks ago.
Good people and excellent products.
Highly recommended.
I sold them a 70 Lemans shell/frame a few years ago that they use for A-body mockups !
Name is actually Lemons, not Lemon.
Dan Lemons is the owner.
You can rest assured you are getting the best there is. And if, for some odd reason you have an issue with the headers, you're just a phone call away from getting it fixed. They are the best with customer service and satisfaction.
I bought a set of their headers for my 70/632/PB/PS/AC car. They fit inside the frame, like a glove and look awesome. They are a work of art. Worth every penny.
Also, dealing with Dan Lemons was great. He really took his time talking to me about my combination and what I wanted before we decided on the header. All around, a great decision.
Did you guys using them really have to cut holes in your fenderwells? Dont they have just a shorty header for ground clearances that will fit in the stock locations? Or is that what pro touring headers are? I should probably be asking them these questions.
My car has no inner fenders, but yes they would need to be cut if you don't get the pro tour headers. I don't think they make a typical shorty header. Lastly, yeah give them a call of send them an email (addy on their site). They are usally quick to respond.
The pro-touring header installs with no mods, you do have to run a aftermarket starter which i am going to do anyway.2 1\8th primarys with 3 1\2 collecters and they tuck up slightly higher than the oil pan.My car sits low so they will work great.
They could answer your question via email or phone. I know they were very responsive when I started looking at their products. Links for contact are listed on their site.
I love my Lemons headers. $1125 got me a set of custom 2-1/8", inside the frame headers for my 632 tall deck, raised exhaust port motor, w/AC,PS,PB.
Worth every penny and Dan Lemons was great to deal with.
