Hello all,

I just picked up a 1965 Malibu and I am in Los Angeles. If there are any Angelenos out there, I heard there was a shop in the Valley (North Hollywood perhaps?) that specializes in Chevelles. I need a few things done and heard these folks are the people to go to. Any help would be appreciated.

You know the interior comes out pretty easy. I replaced everything in mine except for the head liner which an interior shop did. I see you have front belts, are you thinking of upgrading them?

BTW...Car looks great!

I need to get seat belts in the back. I have two small kids. I also want to look into making the seat attachments nicer. Right now the fold down seats are only attached with cotter pins. Want to do this right and also get the covers that used to go over the connection points.

The headliner does need some work. I also need to get a dome light (no interior lights at this point) and want to put some sound proofing in at the same time.

Where are you at in LA? I usually go to either Muscle Factory or Car Shop both off the 57 fwy in Orange. I am pretty familiar with the car since I did most of the work myself. If you have any questions feel free PM me.

Thanks again,

I am in mid-LA (Korean town area). I was hoping to find a good place in LA or near by over the hill in the Valley. I am sure you know how miserable it can be getting between LA and OC. There are a lot of shops in LA to do interior/upholstery work, was hoping to find a place that specializes in our cars' era. Appreciate the offer. I'll probably reach out to you soon.

I found it on one of my favorite sites 25k, I was surprised too. Neat little car though I like the wheels that was on it :thumbsup:when he bought it. It'll sell quick I believe. I think he said he is doing some interior work hope he sends more pics I like to look at other peoples ideas.
