Had a couple calls in the last week about 64-65 Chevelle cowl hoods (in steel); anyone think there's enough interest to pursue making this?
I thought louvers, or later "SS" "Humps" might be nice alsoI'd like to see a hood with louvers myself. Someone on here showed a pic of a modified '65 hood with '66 louvers. Looked nice from what I remembered.
Oddly; because China is an emerging country, the nicest highways and the most state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment is there.as long as its not made in China
I can't...if I could I'd never leave my house...LOL BUT; I do have a guy from HOK that does the artwork for me- he's a bit behind but I get some ideas to him and see what he comes up with.Jon, can you do some CAD renderings or PhotoShopping to give folks an idea of what you had in mind?
I drove up for the Oxford 250 (Same weekend) and accidently tried to get to Freeport through Falmouth on Saturday.....Yeah, maybe some artwork for cowl and louver and anything else that comes to mind that doesn't have a silver spear going down the middle. Not that the spear doesn't look good, but it would be nice to have a sporty option for '64/'65.
The clam festival was another success this year. I usually go to the parade, but had to work instead. If you don't get there early, all you see if the hind ends of the folks who did.Wonder what the 'Clam Queen' looked like this year?
"L-88" style? What I'd really like to see is someone cranking out the 70-72 hood with the corvette hood scoop on it that was used on some of the COPO chevelles.
YEP "L-88" style?
