Any car stuff to do near Ft. Myers, FLA

my in-laws have a place there...i remember going to a pretty cool car cruise held at one of the resturaunts right at the base of the bridge that heads into fort myers from cape coral (pretty sure it was on the left heading into ft. myers)...forget the name, but it was nice....cars in the front lot, waterfront dining/bar in the rear, music, etc..

Thanks for the info. We did go to a place called Victory Lane last night, but there were only 3 cars there (probably due to rain). Any other thoughts? Have looked online, but without any success.

Not car related but take the time to head out to Sanibel Island and walk the beach

The problem is this time of the year there is not a lot of car thing's going on because of the weather, it's raining or about to. Ckeck auto zone in cape coral they have a cruz in on Wed. night's i think?

Hey Dave, I didn't know you know that area. I used to live in Estero (next to Ft Myers), in fact Auto World bought my '72 Stingray from me before I moved. Auto World (www.autoworldftmyers.com) is a good take for a little while like Dave said. They usually have a real nice inventory. Ft Myers didn't suffer too bad from the hurricaine, most of the damage was north of there in Port charlotte area.

Auto World is no longer in that location. On aug.11 there is a show/ cruz-in in downtown Fort Myers, they said to expect about 400- 600 cars.

Auto World is not on Fowler St. anymore (next to the strip club)? Where did it go? The website stills says that location.

The strip club is still there but auto world is not. A buddy of mine has moved his business into that building, truck cap's and accesories.

I just spoke with them and they have their inventory in 4 warehouses around Ft. Myers...no way to come and look. They are builidng one large facility in my town of Punta Gorda and expect to be back in business around Labor Day.
