The updated flow numbers are now on the AFR website.

Is this a result of changes to the head, or just a different way they flowed them? Also, I noticed their as-cast low lift flow numbers are quite a bit lower than before. Just their high lifts are a bit higher. </font>[/QUOTE]These are the numbers of the finished product after the cnc work. I believe the original numbers were from either prototype heads or possibly with the CNC chamber option which makes a big difference on the low/mid lift numbers. They will be closer to the full CNC 335 with the chamber option. It is $295 extra as I recall.
Tony flows all his heads with a large bore adapter, ( I think 4.530 ) & a pipe on the exhaust.

On the Brodix RR, as Bill said the chambers are either 115 or 119 & they come with a 270cc intake port.

From what I read before, they used a 4.500" adapter. They may be going to a 4.53 now, im not sure. Even with a 4.25" adapter, the heads flow far better than their competitors. Maybe the reason why they are the big $$$

Same bench same day

Cable,
The post seems to be removed. Must be to old or archived.
You can ask Bob Tiley or check with one of the other moderators to see if it has been deleted ot not.
I will try to find the numbers & post them again.
That post had quite a bit if info & I should have kept a copy including all the dyno specs & flow numbers on the 496 a lot of guys keep asking about :(

I will soon have my 496 up and running and it will be sporting the Race Rite Ovals with CNC chambers (115cc) and minor clean up work performed by myself.

Mike (Wolfplace) supplied the heads. Thanks

I can hardly wait! :hurray:

I bought one of the first sets made 4 years ago with a ls6 short block that saw yearly changes. Icredible street manners making good power (500 rwhp)
Sold the motor (for a great return considering the abuse) with the race-rite ovals being a key selling feature.
These heads work great in heavy chevelles...(smaller runners = torque).... street manners and low 11 second et's.
I hope I did not make a mistake selling them.

you could always buy some more.....
