whats everyone think of this engine??

i'm in the market for a new engine..... this is not exactly the direction i was going to go, but for the right price i just might.

pretty clean looking, but i have my doubts. so what are yall thinking?? TIA

i dunno he says its sold AS IS, sounds kind of risky. but 800 bucks is a nice price for a motor like that. talk tot the owner see what it went threw, or try to get somemore info on specs etc etc.

thats what i was thinking...... i guess if he wanted to sell it bad enough he would let me turn it over and just generally inspect it?? thanks for the input!!
