Help! Need a template for vinyl top molding rivets

Just as topic says I would really appreciate it if someone could make me a template of the vinyl top moulding rivets on a 1970. A good pic or two would also be very helpful. I have the trim but I'm pretty sure the spacing of the retaining clips is important or I won't be able to correctly install the trim. Thanks a bunch

Anyone? I don't have an assembly manual...is it in there? Anyone have a junker or anything they could even send a decent pic of the studs? Thanks

Lay your trim on the truck and use a lead pencil to mark each edge. Plenty of pics on the net to view placement. Place your plastic clips centered between the two lines and mark for the studs. Don't stress over the spacing of the studs. One at each end, two in the middle. Don't put one in the middle of the bend. Good luck.

Thank you very much. I was concerned with putting one in the wrong spot and not being able to install the molding.
