I came accross this 68 on Ebay. Wow, I'm glad I'm not shopping for one cause I would have already hit that Buy It Now button! I love everything about it. The colors are perfect. Check out the seats! I think the price is very good too. Is it worth less cause it's automatic? They don't have too much of a description though, as far as how much has been done to the car. Check it out.

That is pretty nice, I like the interior. The price does seem pretty darn fair for a big block chevelle. I have more than that into my El camino and its not that nice... Plus its just a small block.

I know, it takes a lot of money to get these cars restored. It's cost us about $14,000 -$16,000 to get my Wagon where it is now, and it still needs trim, grille, door panels, rug, and maybe a few other minor items. It doesn't say how much has been done to the car. They make it sound like everythings in great shape, but they don't say how it got like that. Real hot car for my taste!

Oh, I just clicked on the pic of your El Camino, it's very nice too!
Thankyou. I like your 65, wish I could restore mine like that. 65 wagons isnt quite my cup of tea, but I can appreciate them and understand why you would love it.

I know what u mean. I love my Wagon, but if it hadn't been my Dad's & the family car when I was little, it wouldn't have been my choice of car at all. I probably would have gone with a 66 or 68 Convertible! But I just grew to love it. It's more about the memories that come with it. We also have a 63 Impala SS that belongs to my husband, that's our next project. But we just bought that one a few years ago. To me most of the fun is to work on them, find parts, it really brings more satisfaction that way.

About this silver car, I would love to buy a car like that, but it would feel so much better to help one get there you know. To make it happen. Would kinda feel weird to just get in and drive.

As compared to what?
Yes, they should be down the sides, not on the hood and deck lid at all.

Looks like a very nice 68 Malibu for the price if it's not full of body filler.
THATS it, I knew something looked wrong with them. They don't belong on a 68 is why I couldn't place my finger on the problem.

nice to see that some sellers are realistic. i love 68's. one thing i would have to change on this car is the black on the bottom, see how it doesn't go back behind the rear tire? that would drive me nuts! but still looks like a decent clean car and how refreshing that it wasn't cloned.

What do you mean,Its JUST a s.b.?
makes sense to me!:boring:

what part needs clarification?

I think he means that a BB car would be more $$. which is true with the L79 as an exception.
