I have a holley double pumper that was recently rebuit. however, the engine I am building has lots of chrome, billet parts, etc...The carb quite frankly looks like crap right now. Anybody know the best way to clean it up? It is the old stlye bronze looking finish which is fine, I just want it cleaned up a bit.

Is the original finish deteriorated, or just dirty?
If it's just dirty, a long bath in good carb cleaner should clean it up. If the finish is deteriorated, the only correct way (i.e. no spray paint) to bring it back is to refinish it is to re-do the factory chemical dip process.

I know he only rebuilds Quadrajets but he may consider doing the refinishing for you.
He made my Quad look so good i almost don't want to put gas in it.

I believe that Holley themselves will do the carb for you, also. Who better to do it than the company that built it?:thumbsup:
