Starts in half an hour on PPV. Old Randy Couture comes out of retirement to take on the big guy Tim Sylvia. I think everyone is going to be pulling for The Natural, but I suspect most people including myself think Tim will win. Rich and Hughes have their comeback fights. I hope its a good one.

I was shocked at how bad Tim got his butt kicked.It was not even close.He did not win a round!Did you see his eye after the fight,it was swollen shut and purple.I am a fan of Tim Sylvia but I have to give props to Randy Couture.He looked great!!!That was money well spent tonight.

I cant believe it. I too thought Tim was gonna beat on him, but he dominated! Im just blown away he won the stand up cleanly, including dropping him with the first punch, and also took him down at will. I think Joe Rogan's interview comments said it all.

After the beatting, in the interview with Tim he was very humble in his defeat right up till he said that he had been fighting that night with an injury(and you could hear the crowd boooing). At that point I lost all respect for him. Hope Randy does not give him a re-match because of that statement as IMHO he does not deserve it. But we all know Randy will because thats the sort of person he is (class act).

I dont think Tim was seriously using the injury as an excuse, he admitted clearly he just couldnt figure out Randy's tactics. But, you NEVER mention injuries in the first interview after you lose.
Honestly I dont think Tim will get to a rematch before Randy retires again, or loses the belt. Cro Cop is eventually going to fight one of them this year, so that will prevent the rematch imo.
