Look to the upper right of your screen. Click on "search" and type in "truckarm". You will see quite a few threads. There is one or two people here that used it, not that many run it here as there are plenty of other options (also discussed in the threads you will find in your search)

What is the intended use of the vehicle? Is this just to be different or do you have an intended use in mind that this style of suspension might help?

Honestly, I think a well planned C4L will handle almost as well as a truck-arm. I am not a big fan of the truck arm and don't think the amount of work and expense can be justified. For virtually the same money you could have a 3-link installed and that is a huge improvement over both the T/A and the C4L.

Probably the biggest problem with it is muffler/exhaust fitment b/c the long arms go diagonally right where all this stuff generally fit's stock..

they show a Camaro on their website that has the exhaust run like stock all the way out the back. they used an "X" pipe right under the front mounting point for the arms, and it looks like a pretty tight fitting system that doesn't hang down too low.

I agree with Denny. For all that time and money,I don't think the ends justify the means.

how much room would you need for the top link of a properly engineered 3 link setup? would the back seat need to go?

You would need to get creative with the rear seat; something like a late model Mustang or Camaro with the 2+2 configuration. An upper link of 12-15 inches would work well.

I beleive my buddy Mark at LD is working on an "A" body kit,. He is looking at a real short upper link, something like 10" to minimize the amount of floorboard surgery required.

Sorry for the thread hi-jack.

see with the truck arm i can easily run a backseat if i want to and the whole installation is something i can do on my own. i also plan to run the exhaust out the side anyway  i really think this is the way to go to get that vintage nascar vibe

A NASCAR theme'd car is the only place I'd want to use it, but that's just me... :)

You can buy a nice crossmember for the front from the usual suspect oval track vendors.

which usual suspect vendors would that be?
HTH sells the arms seperate, and the front mounting tabs.
buut it would probably be easier and cheaper to pony up for the kit.
