oldies 50s and 60s, courted the bride in 1959 in a 1954 four door ford, three on the tree with over drive. 103 in 2nd gear overdrive, 104 in high overdrive. A mirror half way down on the top of both front fenders, single exhaust with a straight pipe for a while. Those 55, 56, 57, 58 and 59 chevies made my car look like a box car, but I was tickled to have it.

I got a 30gig IPod for Christmas. With an FM adapter, I can put it in my shirt pocket and play all my favourite oldies through the FM radio in our newer cars. With all of our CDs on the IPod, I've only used about 2 gig. Lots of room for more 60s music. Our Chevelles didn't come from the factory with radios. Factory AM radios were added but the stereo sound out the back is still the best music of all. My wife agrees.

not a big country fan but as i have admitted on here before i am a sucker for George Jones. however, there is a current country guy that i have heard a few times that i really like, Chris Knight. for some reason i find his voice really intresting and his lyrics excellent. favorites are songs like "cry lonely" then one about you cant hang yourself if you dont have enough rope and another about she changed everything when she couldnt change me. dynamite stuff. other than that i still like all the classic rock and anything new as long as it has melody and a hard edge. not a pop music fan and never was. nothing wrong with some metal once in a while as long as it isnt in a fabricated satan voice. lol

Anything and everything depending on my mood.

I have been in a Trance/techno mood lately so I have a 3.5 hr playlist on my ipod in my trailblazer. :D

Yeah, yeah, all you old timers probably think I'm crazy! :)

Yes and Marillion.

Throw in some ELP, Jethro Tull amd Mott The Hoople :)

Edit: How can I forget UFO!
Classic rock, but just a bit tired of Tull. Some motown, what can I say I from the area. Some old country/rock, Elvis, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison. A little of this and that but mostly classic rock, it doesn't have to be old to be a classic.

Austin country mostly. Patty Griffin,Mindy Smith,Neko Case,Lucinda Williams.Emmylou,Kelly Willis,Tish Hinojosa,Gillian Welch. That type. And some others Martina, and have gotten a thing for the Wreckers.Nickel Creek and Yonder Mountain String Band

Classic Rock, Classic Country,Heavy Metal, Blues , Oldies, and Motown. I was born in the early sixties so I was raised on the now oldies and classic rock. Lost the rock in the 80's and converted to country. Too much electronic music in the 80's rock. A band called Guns and Roses brought my ears back to rock in the late 80's and I never left again. The only thing I don't like is new country( too pop) and rap.:beers:

I remember when country artists came from believe it or not--

THE COUNTRY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now just a bunch of over paid city slickers with not a thing to project from the songs they had some real artist write!!!!!!!!!!!!!

but not surprizing ya know--
