If not a scam then this looks like a deal. The ad doesn't give me the scam vibe. Also local to me if anyone is interested. If it's the real deal it should go fast.

There was a gold convertible listed here right before the 4th for 16k. I talked to the guy and he was literally looking for 200 deposits to defraud people. What a joke

Sold at a used car dealer in my hometown!

Nope. My spidey sense is tingling scam here. Pics just look funny to me, like they have been copied and pasted too many times. i think my fathers flip phone could still take clearer pictures than what we see on the add. And who takes pictures like this?

to me, this just has the look of a cropped, stolen photo.

The tag, inspection sticker and area code for phone number do jive for Pittsburgh though. But i still aint buying its for real.

I believe, I seen the same car for sale on Craigslist in California. It has been flagged and removed, so I couldn’t link it.
I found that link on Facebook. That is a different car. They are similar but many differences but that one sold for $35K.
I emailed the seller asking about the cars location and he emailed me back ( from a local number) for what that's worth. As I said it could be a scam but if not it's a hell of a deal.
I found the Facebook link through a reverse image search and that search did not show the image elsewhere.

I really believe this car is a great deal for someone wanting to restore a true SS.... If I wasn't knee deep in chevelle restoration with the one I have then this would be my second purchase!

Lots of work ahead for the new owner but well worth it in the end......

BLM,
Is this vehicle near you? If so, could you go check it out to see if it is legit?
My neighbor buddy and I would grab that thing at that price if it’s legit but we are on the other side of the state.

The vehicle is 30-40 miles from me. I did contact the owner about its location and he responded with a good local phone number.
I would suggest you call the owner. If you feel it's on the up and up then get an address and see if the seller it good with someone coming to take a look. I could check it out.

I reached out to him this morning asking if that could be arranged. I also asked for a pic of the build sheet and some pics of the undercarriage. Awaiting a response.
