I'm thinking about getting this radio delete plate for my 69 el Camino..
1969 Chevrolet Chevelle El Camino; Plate; Radio Delete; Black W/Chrome Accent | eBay

Are they any good? Or should I make one?

'm planning on installing a vintage CD player between the bucket seats in my 69 el Camino. I made a switch / Gauge board out of sheet metal and want to install a vintage CD player from the seventies / Eightys on it... I like the ones that are all lit up like the Alpine..

I was looking at these radio delete plates on e-Bay, are they any good?

Thank you..

Thank you for the kind words and all the reliable information thru the years...

That little piece of steel took a lot of time but now that I'm retired I have it!!

Most don't know about the Hurst Autostick I shifter. To me, there's nothing like a Turbo 400 with the Hurst Autostick I bolted to it! I have no idea why Hurst quit making them, maybe they were too expensive to manufacture.

The two holes are for a tempature gauge and a oil pressure gauge. I can run the oil pressure line straight thru the transmission tunnel and right under the console to the oil filter area. I worry that the line will rupture and I'll have oil all over my interior. This way I'll only have about 5" inside the car...
