I have a 68 chevelle, every light works on taillights, brake lights, emergency flashers, front turn signals, but have no luck getting the rear turn signals to work. Just confused on what to do next, I would appreciate the help on this. Thanks

The brake lights share the same wire between a connection on the turn signal switch and the bulb sockets in the rear.

The switch may have an issue and maybe from not being used in a while, try working it up and down to possibly clean electrical connections in the switches contacts.

When you hit the brakes and both rear lights come on and then use let's say the left turn signal, does the left rear brake light go off ?.

When I hit the brakes the light up and when I turn the signal on nothing changes. Brake light stay on. I will check over the switch.

The connector running down the steering column check the connection, then back probe the wires for the power , by the fuse bow up high the rear wire ribbon that supplies power to the rear check that connection.
