Not a specific car but when I was younger I really disliked black cars with red interiors. Think they look cool now. There is one specific car that my car buddies think is ugly but I would love to have is a 65 Impala coupe, evening orchid with a white interior.

For me it’s probably the 64-66 Mustangs. I have a brother, a brother in law and a neighbor that all have convertibles that I seem to have been volunteered to maintain so I’ve learned more about them and driven them more.
It has been said that familiarity breeds contempt but thats with people. With cars, sometimes it works the other way, yep. I have done a 69 and a 70 Mustang and just finished metal work on a 73, and those styles appeal a little more to me now. But Mom had a cherry six banger 68 that I used for dates in HS and oddly the first gen appeal hasn't changed. They are all simple to work on but first and second gens still just don't seem like enough steel to enter the fray of modern traffic with. For this guy anyhow.

I love the colored interiors. I’ve changed many black interiors to bright blue, red, white, green.
My wife on the other hand, hates them. I’ve had my 66 since 2012 and she has ridden in it once. Just once in 12 years. She thinks the interior looks like a pimps car.

On the other hand, I like the older Mopar's more now then I used to.

I'll take a 65-6 GT350 any day!

Station wagons. Grew up with a couple (Fords) and when I got married and started the family stuff, we needed more room so...Chevy wagons (Caprice Estates..all used). Had 4 of them over the years. Still love to see them when I go to shows, esp. Tri-Fives and early Chevelles.

Well, yes. My 97 F!50 was just a truck for awhile after it replaced my non overdrive Bronco. Even with only 70k miles it needed a lot of fixing.

Over the years it turned out to be stone reliable, was my daily driver for a few years, took me on numerous adventures, went up the east coast and back, and a bunch of track trips towing.

It finally developed a personality, and became known a Big Guy.

I think the AMC Pacer was one of the ugliest cars ever made, but I dang near bought one about 20 years ago. It was sitting at my local salvage yard. Ugly yellow thing. But, pop the hood and there sat a factory 304 V8 with air conditioning. I was a day late. Sold for $500 bucks.
