Well not quite elephants flying, but I’ve seen it all now. While buying skid for my other vehicle habits, ran it a couple guys that put a 2uz v8 into a 71-72 Chevelle vert. Fella started it up for us, ran super awesome. Showed us the custom spacers/oil pan adapter to fit this all together. Many custom bilet parts. Dude had a slew of Toyotas converted to v8. Probably be about 380hp in the Chevelle. Y’all I never met anyone this far into doc brown territory, car could easily had a flux capacitor. I know yall going to smack talk about Chevy purity, but this was sheer engineering badassery. I has to tell someone about this, done.

I was just going to say, reminds of the Diesel swaps. Like a 1200# engine in a Muscle car makes sense.
Only reason to do it is look at me!

So there is a supercharger for Toyota v8.
My Chevelle is broken ( bad brake proportion valve), so I’m suping up my Toyotas while I wait for the rust killer to allow the compression fittings to move. So I’m pulling chains
Personally I like it when guys think outside of the box. I still want a Cummins in an El Camino.

I can see the value in that but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Hell, I couldn't bring myself to do an LS when I had the pieces for a 427 sitting there.

Yes there is. I believe both Toyota and Magnussen make them, may be the same piece. I’ve never seen them side by side.
