Hello

I am in need of replacing the front inner fenderwells on my 64' Chevelle Malibu SS. All I can find are 65' fenderwells. Anyone know where I could get these in good shape? Or order new? I am not having any luck. Thanks

Scott

The usual suspects don't have them? Are they repop'd? Quick search at OPGU shows wheelhouses but no inner fenderwells! yikes.

We have a great little resto shop in our backyard that sometimes has unobtaniums incl Chevelle bits, Try Camaro Specialties 716-652-7086

They're not reproduced, so you'll have to find them used. Keep scouring Ebay, FB Marketplace or CL. Plus you should place a wanted ad in the classifieds on this site. Something will pop up, you'll just need to be patient.

Well, I sold a 64 El Camino basket case to a local fella, and it defintely had inners. He is located in western NY. Olean NY to be specific if you are interested. Imagine you can't ship these easily.

As Pete said. They DO NOT reproduce 64 front fenders or inners. Best to start searching the web and be patient, they don't pop up very often.

Sure would help knowing your location. I may have a source near you if I knew where you were.

Only thing I can add is a point of caution to make sure you know how to spot a 64 inner fender or buy from a trusted source or you could easily find yourself w/ a 65 or later piece which will not fit. Heard this story many times over the years. Also I suspect location matters a lot on availability and price. Here in the NE they are like gold and if a person knows what they have the price will reflect it. Last set I sold was for very good money. But it is a small market of buyers and sellers.

Know a Guy on west side of El Paso, who may very well have. 300 plus Chevs from early fifties to early eighties. But he doesn't ship, only cash and carry. These parts aren't heavy, just bulky. The Bus was great for this type of part. But they no longer handle 3rd party freight. Washed their hands of it. Fedex / UPS will be likely $300 ish to ship to northeast. Or more. Crazy.

Thank you, I am located by Sacramento California.
If your willing to drive down to LA I have a pair. Little rusty but straight.
There is also a front end on craiglist in the fresno area. I could be tempted to split cost on that front end with you as I need a core support.

have you tried OPGI or NPD?
doug
What would the point in that be?
it has been posted multiple times that 64 inner fenders are NOT reproduced.
They are not the same as 65s
