There are still a few people here in Mustang that use horses for transportation.
If my lot was big enough for 2 horses, I would also ride them.

You should try walking down the street in Pamplona, Spain. Watch for charging bulls!


So does Mustang, OK still employ street sweepers for "road apples"?
Note to self, wear rubber boots when in Mustang.
 
We have them out here in Tennessee too . Last year as I was leaving Ethridge Raceway , I was following behind a Amish ( ?) buggy. As I turned onto the main highway I saw about 4 more horse and buggy's parked in front of a store.

Every once in a while I see people riding horses on public roadways out near my shop. It’s all farms out that way.
In New Jersey??????????????????? I thought ALL of NJ was major metropolitan.

No sir not even close. Where I live in South Jersey is mostly farmland.

This is the intersection right down the street from the shop. A lot of Cumberland, Salem, and Cape May County look like this

My Ex MIL was trying to drive a Horse & Buggy from Mi. back to Fl., she made it to the 1st on ramp to a Hwy and the horse got hit by a car and died, No road trip for my Ex MIL
