Guys and gals, I've got a sweet deal in the classified section on a new Accel DFI system. I'm trying to move it quickly so take a peek in the performance section, it's about 3 pages back.

Hmmmm,,,,,,,,advertising??? Now if I posted a full ad listing the product with a price, I would consider that advertising, but to give somebody a heads up about my ad I hardly consider that advertising. I think it falls under the same situation as letting everybody know ATI is having their winter clearance sale, don't you think??

Come on guys. This is no way to start the new year. Neal, I've seem plenty of posts on here that point to a good deal or just ask general questions or comments. I really don't consider mentioning that he needs to sell something quickly a big deal. All the specifics are in the classified section. Give the guy a break!
AND 66rat, I understand you are frustrated with the comment about it being too much, but everone is entitiled to their opinion. Heck, all you have to do is look at ebay. For the right person that needs one quickly or wants to negotiate, I'm sure you will do fine. This does not warrant name calling. that stuffs for kids.
I apprecite having this and other forums to share information (expecially on the receiving end for me as I need all the help I can get )

I agree David...as an ebay seller, I am sometimes TOTALLY amazed at what some of my parts bring in...and have seen conversations about them on forums like this... if they were worth what they were going for...I don't do the bidding...sooooo they were worth it to someone. As the owner of a classic...unfortunately not a Chevelle but a Caprice...I would much rather sell reasonably to someone on a forum like this than to someone who is going to resell and comes across my stuff. This is my first post...sure hope I don't offend ANYONE.
