London UK to Hickory NC

I will be in Hickory NC in a couple of weeks time visiting the wifes family, are ther any drag strips cruise's or anything for this Chevelle head to check out, will be ther for 10 days from the 20th April. I last visited 30 years ago and remember a parts store in Granite Falls called The Hotrod barn but thats about it, we travelled around to different States quite abit on that visit and ended up in Texas going to Houston Raceway Park for the Super Chevy Show.
Just thought I'de run it by you in case I can slip away unnoticed for a while.

Big drag strip in Concord, small one in Mooresville along with just about all the NASCAR teams located there.
Probably an hours drive from Hickory
