I finally registered online motor vehicle to re up the offroad sticker for my atc. the portal shows the vehicles titled in your name and surprise, ive got 3 three wheelers in my name and the dmv shows 6 or 7 in my name, and there's the 70 el camino I sold in 2019.
I'm just wondering if the sheriff dept is going to call me someday to come pick up a 3 wheeler or el camino.

No, but tax people are gonna be wanting to know why you aren't paying license fees on them.

haha, just like having yard art here. if its not on the road you don't have to keep plates (taxes) on it. In order for me to ride the trike on public lands, I need a current off road sticker (5 bucks a year). jim

Around here inside the city limits (Which I hate) it has to have ins. & an up to date plate or inside a garage or privacy type fence where it's not someone else's eyesore, it looks to me the DMV here is getting to the point of Everything online, I'm getting a 67-68 Black plate registered to our Chevelle and they said I need to mail the plate to the State Capital DMV bldg. for an inspection...Why the Heck aren't the local DMV qualified to do that simple sh!t? PS In the 70's I lived in a nice neighborhood and the way you could tell who was doing better financially was if the driveway had 1 car up on blocks was So So and if 2 cars were up on blocks they were pretty well off $ wise LOL

I took my wife's Tahoe thru emissions last month (with 310,000 miles on it) and it passed. I came home with the paper that you send in with the renewal form. She went on line and they showed the passed emissions info and renewed on-line. No mailing.it all in. Got the renewal sticker a few days later.
On the other hand, you used to be able to take a title in to DMV and walk out with a title, registration and plates in hand. No more. I don't see where that's the new, improved DMV.

bill you go to service arizona and register. after you register you can go to the menu, go to renewal and all your titled cars show up. jim

I have a title only car that didn't show up. If you don't register them they may not show up. Unregistered cars can still be purged from the system. Don't lose your titles. I prefer to get titles rather than rely on the state to keep track of my cars. I have a Chevette, too.

It's been a while since your post, but I wanted to offer some insight. Isn't it wild what you can discover when you dive into the online DMV portal? I had a similar experience recently. Logged in to renew my offroad sticker for my ATV, and bam! Saw a bunch of vehicles listed under my name that I didn't even know existed. It's like a mystery unraveling right in front of you! 😄 But yeah, I get the concern about the 3-wheelers and El Camino still being registered to you. I'd suggest giving the local DMV on dmvlist.com a buzz just to clear things up. They're usually pretty helpful with sorting out these kinds of mix-ups. And hey, if you need to check out any official info or forms, dmvlist.com has got your back.

A sheriff showing up to reclaim one might be funny, but a sheriff showing up to tell you a vehicle still registered in your name has been in an accident and you are liable wouldnt be. Things might be different down there but up here, I would be alerting DMV just to cover your a$$. I had a Ford dealer contact me online to ask me to rate my recent service appointment on a car I sold 5 years ago. I had DMV run my vin and confirmed it was transferred to new owner and was just a dealer paperwork glitch. But who is to say the buyer didnt just slap their own plates on and have been driving it in my name for 5 years. Too many scammers out there these days to take the chance. My $.02 anyway

I had a guy offer me $500 extra on a Mini Van I was selling. I asked why and he said he rents them out in Detroit. I politely declined. He worked at a Factory in Detroit and would rent the cars sans license and insurance to people who couldn’t qualify for such things. That way if it got into a wreck or trouble they would just walk away, but guess who’s door they are knocking on. Ever since hearing about that I go to the DMV after I sell a car and tell them to cancel my registration and title info.

As a Native Californian, I have lived through the bad times and not so good times with our DMV offices. They do not seem to have an answer to fix their issues.
