Are the Beaumonts valued any higher because there was less of them. It's hard to find out what they are worth when you can't find them forsale. I'm looking at one (pictures only) that is a 2dr ht, 454 4 speed, all new interior bucket seats , truck looks good body dont look to bad patches welded in the lower 1/4's, probably get this car for $8000 cdn. Are the worth that and my poblem is it will cost about $2400 to ship its only 5000 miles from me its on the west coast I'm on the east of Canada.
Thanks Leo

That's a tough one Leo :clonk:

My personal opinion would be a regular Beaumont, which your example seems to be, would be valued under a relative Chevelle. However, I would also say a unique or high horse Beaumont could be worth more. Of course, the market of possible interested buyers is much smaller. Example, my friend down the road earlier this year sold his 67 SD-396 L35 ragtop for probably a little more than a comparable SS-396 might sell for. The car was correct and an absolute knockout though.

I don't have any problem saying this 65 Beaumont is probably worth the $8K if it's in decent shape. In my opinion the 454 doesn't hurt its value either since it probably started life as a small block.

My concern in your proposed transaction is the fact you have not inspected the car in person. Pictures NEVER tell the entire story. I would be inclined to get a professional appraiser inspect the car for you and provide a detailed report. At least then you would have a better indication as to quality. Make sure you pick the appraiser and not the seller. This could be a couple of hundred dollars well spent.

Hope this helps a bit. Good luck Leo.

This will give you an idea. N.A.D.A. puts a 300 Deluxe at
low avg. high
$3,475 $6,775 $9,425

Thanks for the replys. Here in the far east you can't find anything and I didn't think the price was that bad but that shipping cost could be the killer. I know pictures are not the best thing to go on and an appraiser or 3rd party inspection would be the way to go. I allready done the buy the car without seeing it lucky enough I didn't get burned but I hate to try my luck again. Thanks again for the advice. Leo

Hey Leo I have noticed that the beaumonts dont quite bring in the value as compared to the chevelles Alot of the market is strictly in Canada I do know of a few that are in the US and do be prepared that parts are extreamly hard to find and when you do find them hope yo have a thick wallet I bought mine over the phone Was told a 66 chevelle factory 327 4 gear Drove 10 hours to find a beaumont Having a real hard time now for parts They are not just a sister car to chevelle Some have GTO dash clusters ChevyII motor mounts completly diffrent interiors and thats what I have found so far If this car needs work Might be a little high As for the shipping cost to you That seems real high I have shipped a 64 dodge and a 75 vette to halifax for 12 hun a peice Let me know if ya need a hand I can take a look for you or help out with the shipping of it
