Pdq67 ..... watch what you say to the Inspector !!! I know that you'd only be looking out for his well being when you suggested that he put the light where the sun don't shine
butt .... he might not understand english as it's a second language for him ...... & shutting down your whole plant & pulling all permits for a complete reveiw seems to be the most common result when one of these public servants get they're feelings hurt ...........

Can we do some failure analysis on the bulb?

You're assuming the bulb failed. Maybe it was just being replaced with a different wattage bulb. Maybe they wanted a different color, like blue or red. Too many details left out. What are the specs of the original bulb? How about the replacement bulb? Why are you replacing the bulb? See this is how posts get off track. Providing all the pertinent details up front will keep the post on track.

I will buy your bulbs, but I have a shipper, so I will send you a cashiers check for $5,000.00 over the cost of the bulbs and you send the 5K to my shipper.

I will need to have you wire transfer the 5K the day you get my cashiers check.

I will also buy all of your lamps as well with a different check made out for over your price to wire the remainder to my shipper as well.

You Friend

I used to own a bulb like that one, I wish I still owned it.
It was a standard bore bulb, with some minor glass tweaking.
I sold it after it developed some rust on the lower metal base panel across from the point of contact that was welded with a MIG 2000.
My bulb was cloned from an original Edison, who only made 15 of the 160watt pace bulbs. I think that bulb was used to light up the stage at Barrett-Jackson and sold for a gazzillion Buck$$ on EBAY.

Why didn't you just replace the lower base panel?
I have done it on a few bulbs, it just takes a lot of time, sanding and a good eye with your MIG 2000

my buddy had a bulb in a combination that they never made ever. he got it right from the factory.

The bulb burned out because of the sheer incompetence of liberals and you think you are in the dark now because the liberal media told you so. Thankfully, w has opened the door of the American bulb market to the Chinese so you, the working man, the one w cares about, will have your replacement bulb and you can afford it due to your great job and my huuuuuge tax cuts.

The bulb couldn't help it though because it was merely fulfilling its pre-ordained destiny, amen.

It also takes 1 person to post a link to a picture of a really hot chick holding a light bulb,
then 40 more to respond about how ugly the girl is and how her forehead looks like a light bulb and that their girlfriend/wife/sister is hotter than she is.

I agree.

2 to say, "I had a friend in high school who had a bulb just like that one, except it was brighter and lit up faster than the speed of light." Oh wait, that only happens at bulb shows.

Then there are the 3 who say "Do a search."

And then there are the 5 who refer you to bulb tech reference section.
