So I did some reading on here and the 80w-90 sent for the rear seems fine. I also have the 4oz of limited slip additive.

I was all set but then read the back of the bottle (2nd pic) and it says "no special ad dative needed".

I am guessing i still add it.

Thanks Freddie, maybe I will call Moser too... I have over 3k in this rear so don't wanna chance it.


Try it without the additive and if it pops when you turn a sharp corner then put the additive in. You don't want too much additive. It's kind of a balance between too much and not enough.

Running it without the additive will not hurt anything except your nerves. Popping and chattering clutches will not break anything. The additive just makes the clutches slip easier, which is why you don't want too much of it. You only need the additive with a clutch type differential. If you are using a Truetrac, Detroit Locker or something else that doesn't have clutches then don't use the additive.
