I'm gonna try and get the Misses down to Turlock this year.
My oldest and I went last year... colder n' a brass bra at 0'dark thirty out there waiting in line for an hour.

Would love to get together with everyone in the afternoon somewhere!

I'll be there unless the bank ships me out again and I am freezing in Chicago all week long.

F*** pickup, oh man we might have you park around the corner, or at the local auto recycler yard so it blends in :D

Hope you are feeling better Rick :)

Anthony can smack talk anyway, just do it from here, or we can put him on speaker phone at the house when we are all together. If the Mellows show up that is, which I hope they get to show up. My Chevelle is too slow right now to hold a candle to ya'lls rides, but not for long......

Some of that Samuel Kinzli (IPA?) that you brought last time would be nice ,from what I can remember. Craig, I hope to bring the Velle as it is running fine with the new heads and the solid cam.

I'm going to try and make it. Unless my work schedule makes it impossible. Looks like I got the Chevelle running normal again. Swapped out the ignition switch this morning. So far so good :) . But, I think the battery is getting weak. It's nearly 6 years old, so I'm sure it's on borrowed time.

Kinzli, all the beers I've tasted that you've brewed were top-notch. Any style works for me!

I got a new mystery cooler now too...

I might cruise up for that one if I can get the Chevelle running by then. I am in the process of rebuilding the motor in my 1970 SS Chevelle 396. What is the Turlock swap meet like? Can you buy cars there?
Thanks
Dave

Alright guys, I'll see what I can do to get something brewed up by then. Time is short, but I might be able to get a raz wheat going but no guarantees. I usually need at least a month of time to get something brewed and ready to keg.

I do have a very, very hopped up IPA that I brewed a few weeks ago, but its not a full batch, and I think it won't be ready for probably 6-9 months, unless you like beer that tastes like the front lawn :beers:

You can buy just about anything if your willing to look and there are always cars to be had and even a few are at a good price. But you always see those jerks who put not for sale on their rides............just to **** people off. LOL

Whorin, whorin, beer, whorin, whorin...

Dirt and Craig, that IPA I brewed a few weeks ago just went into the secondary last night. I tasted it and oh my, this is by far the best yet. I think you should plan on stopping by in a few weeks to try it out :) This is a hop monster, but I think you'll like it.

Anyone else interested in a super-hopped IPA? Come to Santa Cruz, I'll make it worth your while. Just don't plan on driving home for a while :beers:

That would be me ;) I am one of the founding members of this tradition :waving: Not that I own anything that is worth selling at all :)

Really, a good swap meet, one of the largest west coast meets side the Pomona ones :) No disappointments

No need to have a Chevelle there, this swap meet helped built mine with parts from this place :)

Now if there were any 5 speed transmission vendors attending... I might have to break a piggy bank or two. Not sure it sounds like it would be prudent nor safe to the checkbook to come. But it does sound like fun... hmmm...

With the way you guys talk (and yes I THINK I know it's just talk...)
Maybe I DON'T want to bring the Misses after all!

Still, she does love the cars!

Sweet! I'll be in the Bay Area again most of Jan 16-20. Will it be ready for tasting? :beers: Good thing the latest health reports say beer is good for you :D
