Or your Chevelle for that matter? You just might have your chance in June if you're attending Chevell-abration. Just found out that the producers of the Mother's Wax Show Series will be there to tape the event for one of their half-hour shows. :hurray: I gotta figure with the entire show to fill, the coverage will be more extensive that any other TV coverage we've had in the past. The HPTV segment was ~5 minutes, and about the same for My Classic Car. So with that much more coverage, you can almost be assured that chances of being interviewed or having your Chevelle featured in a walk-around have gotta be pretty good. I'm excited about this news; it looks like this may be one of the best Chevell-abrations yet!

yep , my 15 mins of fame lasted 20 seconds. last year after i got back from chevell abration , i got a phone call to go into the lord mayors mansion house. they wanted a load of american cars to advertise the biggest show in ireland which happened to fall on the fourth of july. anyways went in and brought the chevelle and a few other american muscle cars , was on tv in the chevelle smiling like an idiot with the exhaust dumps wide open, good fun though, managed to get the lord mayor for a few pics in the chevelle , good fun as per usual.all the american cars are parked on the street in a line waiting to escort the lord mayor to the show....

I was on tv a few times, once during the 96 Olympics in Atlanta on a Phoenix sports show, wanted to know about what I was doing.
Once on Atlanta tv where the camera guy shot film of me while I was shooting arrows at an archery tournament.

I have both events on tape.

I always get the news worthy stuff. A work crew dug up the main water line, and the news crew comes knocking on my front door , for the 6 O'clock story. In the house they come, and try the water spigot! DUH, no water !! And another time, I carried my old F#RD truck to town to play in the snow(posi rear). I am kicking donuts in the Ingles parking lot, while an Atlanta weather guy is doing a live remote. My old truck going around and around, live at 5!!!

I was interviewed by the Lokar Car Show Series a couple years ago with my 67 at the Trim Parts show here in Ohio. I was a nervous wreck but, it was very cool & exciting. Congrats Chuck !

Hope to see our 71 Demon on Search and Restore! As some of you may recall, I sold my Malibu years back and took on a 71 Dodge Demon that I'm restoring as a church ministry project with the help of volunteers from our men's ministry group. One of our members put up the money to buy the car, but I've been in charge of the project.

The progress was steady until a few months ago. My eye surgery slowed this project to a halt. In fact, we've had a number of setbacks. The recession hit our church hard. Donations slowed and eventually stopped. I found it hard to ask for donations while church members were losing their jobs. Volunteers have almost become non-existant, though I do have two guys who are solid and can be counted on. Again, as the economy grew worse, people who did hang onto their jobs were working longer and longer hours, which left them less willing to volunteer their time. And now, with my son facing surgery to have tumors removed from his brain, getting this thing back on track is going to be a challenge.

So I applied to S and R and hopefully, I can get some help. I don't know about being on TV though. I'm not what you call a handsome man. I'm somewhat of a cross between Ernest Borgnine and Randy Quaid. :D

Been on TV lots of times. Radio too. Newspapers quite often, front page of the Winnipeg Free Press once. I am a farmer who is very quotable, and agricultural policy is ever changing, so I have been interviewed a lot. No big deal anymore.

My dad and I and our Chevelles were on the same show at the Cruisin Ocean City show!
Really cool! Kathy Fisher is really cool, if she is at that show.

been on tv a few times: first was in 92 in Toledo, when my sister and I were interviewed for being survivors from Hurricane Andrew. after that, a few different FSU games, when they panned the crowd. I was interviewed by the Miami ABC channel when I was checking out the All New Camaro at the Miami International Auto Show and most recently my truck and velle are on youtube, thanks to a local guy who does vids

weird thing is, I'd rather have my car on tv then my face LOL
my truck outside lane - vs my buddy's ext cab

my velle - last time I took it out :( it was a rough day all day
