I recently found some original GM/Delco parts lying around in my father's shop. With the crazy prices I have seen on eBay for some original items, I thought it would be interesting to see what they are worth. A set of orginal Delco disk brakes with the box and an original GM triangular shaped plastic gas line de-icer which has never been opened. I think this for a a mid to late 60's GM. Ok guys, please throw your comments out on the thread

Lastly if anyone has a need for the de-icer, let me know :D

It would be hard to say if the pads have any special value, as once they are in place they are pretty much invisible. The bottle would be a different story. You have probably seen at car shows the cars with accessories on display. That bottle might be a rare find and worth a bit to the right guy. I have seen those triangular "opticlear(?)" bottles for the windshield solvent with very crazy prices.

I've been surprised before so anything goes with the brake shoes. The opti-clean bottle appears to be a updated version (plastic) which I doubt is worth much. I believe the "1" preceeding the part no. would indicate the factory service replacement. I wonder if the cap to that bottle is the same as the original?

The de-icer bottle is what was sold at the dealer in the late 80's and early 90's when I worked there. The brake pads are a later issue with a part number change so probably no "home run" as far as value goes on either item.
