Well, the obvious is a wiring problem.
Did you buy a new harness, or re-do the old?
If you re-did it, ( I know Kurt, re-did is not a word.
) you got something crossed.
Check all the grounds. ( black wires I believe ) There are a ton of them in my 69.
Some of the places they ground these are not very good. I took all mine to the same place and made sure it was a good chassis ground.
In some cases I had to extend the wire, but I know the ground is good.
Also, it you don't have a wiring schematic, that is essential to wring out bugs.
