Wiring for console light?

I have added console to my '69 SS396; console is from a monte. Wires from courtesy light are: one is orange and the other white. Is there a place to plug in or should I just splice into other wires and if so which ones. Thanks much for your help...

Mine has a harness that comes down from the firewall, under the carpet and ends up in the front half of the console. The orange is hot all the time (same as orange to door switches) The white is the switched GND wire from the door switches. My under dash harness has plenty of places to 'add' additional wires of each. There are spare plugs and jacks hanging off of the harness. OBTW Its a factory console car.
