Installed a new harness ( American Wire) and have 2 problems.
1. They give you a ALT EXC wire that they say goes to the alternator? They said it replaced the 10 ga wire and its only 12 or 14 ga.
2. when I turn on the 4 way flashers both dash indicater lights light up and the signal lights don't flash. already replaced flasher and traced every wire in the loom.????

Are all 4 corners also lit up? The flasher will not work unless it has the resistance of marker bulbs. The reason it also flashes stupid fast when one bulb is burnt out.
