Sorry to bombard you guys with questions, but I have some time to work on my car this weekend so I might as well ask. Put in a wiper switch I bought off of someone used. Wipers still don't work. I measure 12volts to the switch. I pulled the wires from the motor (A single clips that plugs two wires into the motor). I read 12 volts from one of the wires and nothing from the other with the switch off and on. Is the switch bad or is the motor bad? It is a single speed motor. Hope this is clear.

ok..are you reading 12 volts from the output of the switch? if you get 12 volts on each aspect(going in and out) then the switch is good... if not the switch is bad...get a toggle(like 50 cents) and try that...if your not getting 12volts on the output

I read 12volts to the switch. How do I know if I am reading 12 volts from the switch. There are two wires that plug into my wiper motor. They are connected by one plug. On of the wires in the plug reads 12 volts. One reads nothing. Does that mean I am reading 12 volts from the switch?

The one that reads nothing may be for the washer. Test for power there while pushing the button to the washer position.
