I know this has been discussed before but now it's happened to me and I can't figure out the fix  After getting my 68 out of the body/paint shop, the wiper arms/blades won't clear the rear of the hood. I know my body guy put on a missing chrome strip on the back of the hood which wasn't there before. Even if I take the chrome strip off, it doesn't appear the arms/blades would clear. I've adjusted the hood as far forward as I can but still ain't happening. The arms on the 68 "seem" original but not sure. The blades are aftermarket biggies.. Wondering if I should get a set of repro arms w/old school skinny blades and see if that helps.. Thoughts? Thanks.. RJ

Park "hidden" on a 71. Conventionals got a bit squished by the hood, took a set, and made an ugly noise moving one direction.

Solved with not-fancy Anco ProfileBlade #A-16-UB 400 mm. (Monolithic all black with slight aero flip at top.) Included black plastic center pivot bracket just kissed hood parked (just one side), so I worked both brackets quickly over some coarse emery to shave off a seemingly useless upper edge ridge and roll the top profile.

Clean windshield well. No noise or skipping. (Incorrect, of course, but they are all flat black and "hidden.")
