I have a chance to buy a set of Crager GT mages, 15 inch with tires. Assuming they fit the bolt pattern, will there be any problems with 15 inch wheels? the original wheels on 65 chevelle are 14 inch. There are also a set of Crager SST mags for sale in my area, with 14 x 6 for the front and 15 x 8 for the rear. Will these fit better? How does a 65 SS look with 14 inch front wheels and 15 inch rear? Any comments.

Check out "The List" on my web site. See if there is an entry for your wheel and year.

You can easily fit 15 inch rims on your car. The thing that it depends on is the backspacing and the tire size that you want to use. I have a 64 with 15x7 with 225 60 15 in the front and 15x8 4 3/4 backspacing with 245 60 15 in the back. I think that I could have gone to a 255 60 15 in the back but I am not sure. I have heard of 275 60 15 in the back but I think that the lip was rolled to fit them. Hope this helps.
