If I disconnect the fuel line between the pump and carb, will the fuel run out from the pump? I'm having fuel delivery problems and guess what? I just filled the tank. If fuel will leak out, what's a good way to stop it? A plug in the pump outlet? A plug in the rubber line romming in? I don't want to making a mess while I try and figure it out.

there are valves in the pump that should prevent leakage.

just be careful that your car is NOT downhill like mine was when i decieded to change my fuel lines. oh well. gasoline burns well

Be on the safe side......defeat gravity.......jack up the front end.
