I'm looking for a set of power windows for a '71 Chevelle, and I found a reasonibly priced set for a '71 Grand Prix. Will these work w/o any mods? (besides the ones needed to go from manual to power) or are they just diffrent enough not to work? Any help in my search will be appreciated. Thanks Matt

Matt, I'm a Fargo native myself. I'm pretty sure the windows will work but I'd like somebody else to confrim it. You do need to take that Gran Prix all apart to get the factory wiring harness's out. Don't cut the harness at the front door jamb or mess up the rubber boot in there. Pull the back seat and get that harness too. The tough one is run under the dash. I bought a set from a guy and he had all the wires from the junk car and it made it so much easier.
