After sitting for a whole week, I finally drove my car again today. It ran great. I got home and tried to restart it when my brake job appt. arrived. It ran VERY rough. To make a long story a littel shorter, after freaking out and checking pushrods, springs, and rocker arms, my dad noticed that the cap was cracked between #5 and #7 terminals. I thought this was weird, after all, I was driving it only a little while before. Do they "just" crack like that?

Thanks guys!

It could have already been cracked and ran fine but as soon as the electricity found a shorter path the car started running rough. Most of the time they just don't crack but carbon tracking allows the electricity to not go where it is supposed to go (electricity will always take the path of least resistance). If you would have started the car at night with the hood open im sure you would have found your problem right away.
