Not long ago, there was a discussion on one of the forums (I forget which one) about modern engines vs old school engines.
I mentioned that I would love to have an old Ford with a flathead.
SOMEONE, on a forum, posted this car.
WHO'S CAR IS THIS?????

Wheel Tire Car Vehicle Motor vehicle

Tire Wheel Automotive parking light Car Vehicle

Belongs to a friend in TN and it MAY be coming up for sale in the future, as he is finishing a '53 Chev convert at this time. It is just as nice in person as the pics. He built it from the frame up at home, by himself, even did the custom upholstery. I can call him and ask about a sale timeline.
Edit, it has a 5 speed trans in it too and will scoot a little. No auto trans for him. His '53 has a big block and Muncie 4 speed and he's in his early 70's... ;)

Do you have contact information for him?
My wife is a nut for an early Ford conv, SPECIFICALLY a 40 conv. BUUUUUUUUUUUUUUT, she really likes 36-40 models and she really likes the one above. I need to contact him.
It would be a perfect replacement for the T-bucket!!!!!!!!!

Nope, I talked to him and got lots of details. But it's way above my pay grade.
If you get it, don't let Zack drive it.
