ok right now I have 3/8 1.5 roller rockers. They came off a previous motor. well the motor I have now has 7/16 studs. well im selling the 3/8 ones to a buddy of mine and im just gonna buy new 7/16 ones. well my question is should I buy all 1.5, both 1.5 and 1.6, or all 1.6? the current cam is a crane energizer 274h and has a .450 lift with 1.5's and .480 lift with 1.6's. My heads are "186" double humps. and the motor is a 307. so will I run into any problems with the 1.6's?

I chose to buy 1.6 ratio rockers when I was spending my money.

I verified that the springs and retainers wouldn't be in trouble with the extra lift, and the cam is mild enough that piston-to-valve clearance wasn't a problem.

That cam is fairly mild so I don't think you'd have any trouble running the 1.6 arms on the intake. I can't say for certain that they would help, though. Usually they do, but I've never hotrodded a 307 so I can't say. That's something you'd have to experiment with.
