Which Serpentine belt setup to use?

In my junkyard scrounging, I have come up with different serpentine belt setups to use for my 406. I narrowed it down to two.

Serpentine setup A is a from a mid 90's van that I cutoff part of the passenger side bracket.

Serpentine setup B
is from a early 90's suburban with a a/c delete pulley. The belt is missing but runs from the a/c delete pulley under the tensioner arm and to the alternator.

I am leaning towards setup A as it is less cluttered. What do you think?

Thanks - John

I've used the serpentine pulleys off a later model cutlass/monte. I think it was an '87 I got mine off of. They use the regular old style brackets, so there are tons of options for aftermarket trick stuff and the pulleys themselves are a dime a dozen. I think the big alum. brackets are too cluttered looking and the a/c delete pulley looks the size of a flywheel to me. Just another option.

I thought that they were half V-belt and half serpentine belt. Which motor?
I would like to see the style your talking about.
Do you have any pictures?

Thanks Pat
