I want to get a new ignition coil and was looking at the ones from MSD. Probably just the basic Blaster style, don't really need anything too fancy, yet. I know that my dad recently put one on his car and noticed a good deal of difference. Anyway, when I go to the MSD website or nearly any website, I can't find enough information to really assure me just which one to get. Does anyone have any suggestions?

the car is a 67 Chevelle Malibu, 327 with a stock distributer. Everything is pretty much stock with the exception of the Carb.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Thanks
Evan

Why not call their tech line or send them an e-mail and ask them?
If there is something wrong with your present coil, you might notice a difference with a new coil, but a stock replacement would be just fine, and almost certainly as good as an expensive "auto specialty" part. Its hard to beat AC Delco.
