I just bought a rear brake setup from a 2002 camaro, but I am missing some parts on one of the backing plates. They are the pieces that sit inside the small cylinder and make the ebrake pad spread when the cable is pulled. looks like two small pistons with a little pin inbetween. Also missing the rubber dust bood where the lever goes into the backing plate. I called my local GM service dept. and was told that I would have to buy the entire backing plate for $160. These guys here are notorious for being idiots so im asking on here. Seems weird that these parts are removeable, but cannot be purchased seperately. Advance auto does not have them either.
