'69 Manual with Console. Adding courtesy light harness. Where does it plug in? I've got the console light plugged in. Is there some sort of extension that plugs in between this to allow plug for courtesy lights?
this is an option that is added to the harness for the console and if you did not have a console the pigtail wont be there
you can splice into your courtesy lights or if it did originally have the console there will be a white connector with an orange and (I think) black wire
on the auto cars orange is for courtesy gray is for the backlight for under shifter location for indicator lense
The courtesy light harness has an orange wire that connects to the BAT terminal on the fuse block (power). It has white wires at each side that connect to the door jamb switches (ground. You remove the white wire that is already connected to the door jamb switche, connect the courtesy light harness wire, it will have a pig tail to reattach the original wire to. This is the same on both sides. The passenger side gets the bullet connector, the driver side gets the tab connector.
If you already have a wire connected to the BAT terminal on the fuse block, the courtesy light power wire should have a pigtail, as shown in this pic, that will accommodate an existing wire or be available for future use.
