With my new tranny, I have to shift manually, TH400. They are building it this way because they are concerned that I will not have enough vacumm.

I am looking for a reverse gear set up.

Also, I would like to be able to bang through the gears without worrying about mis-shifts, i.e, from 3rd to 1st or neutral. With this much HP, I would hate to mis-shift

Who makes an idiot proof shifter for my application?

Thanks and god-bless.

This lack of a search thing stinks!

I run a B&M Mega shifter with my manual TH400. I like it. Nice handle, reverse lock out. I bang the HELL out of it and it's going strong after about 1 years of use.

I don't like it's platform integration. I lucked out and did some custom stuff. I used a 73 camaro consol. Mostly because B&M sells a nice chrome "integration piece" and I think it belongs.

Just don't run a Quicksilver. It's nice and all, but not a performance piece IMO.

B&M Pro Ratchet all the way. Talk about idiot proof... theres no possible way to miss a shift. It's nice and small too, which was a BIG plus for me... only shifter that would fit. I'd go with it.

Thanks for all your advice.

It looks like it will be between the Mega shifter and the Pro Ratchet.

Thanks!
