As I'm sorting through the parts that came with my 68 basket case, I'm not sure if these seats are correct for 68. I would like to keep them, however, as they have provisions for the headrests. Really I just want to make sure I get the right foam and headrests. Thanks!

I believe you have a 69 GTO/Lemans bucket seat. I'm guessing these have a release button in the center of the back? Your 68 would have a button on the side of the seat back. You can use these in your 68 and even install 68 covers on them, but they won't be 100% correct.

I'll have to check the button. THe thing about the covers is I saw this exact pattern in my Chevelle NPD catalog, along with other (known) Chevelle patterns. That's why I was thinking it's more from a 70's chevelle interior.

Either way, I think that 68, 69, and 70+ used different headrests that's what I really want to solve for.

thanks again!

OK, didn't want to spend any more time on this, but I did anyway. Just opened a Paddock GTO catalog, and there they are - 69 Lemans/GTO bucket seat covers. That is what these are...

Thanks much! VERY strange that NPD had this pattern in their Chevelle catalog, hence my confustion.

So, I should probably by seat parts for a 69 chevelle then? I can use the 68 pattern but get the 69 hard parts, headrest, etc?

Thanks again!
