What type/brand of clutch came factory installed on a 70 Chevelle SS 396 with M21 trans?

This will sound like a smart-ass answer but here it goes. It's a good old GM AC Delco unit. It’s been a long time since I've seen one, a stock one, but if I had to guess it was more than likely a three-finger setup. The super nice diaphragm units used today were not in wide use. A company called Schiefer made a nice diaphragm unit, I used one in my 55 and it was nice, none of that leg shaking at lights stuff.
